Chelsea Alexander is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. She is interested in emerging adulthood development in a digital and racialized world with a particular focus on Black populations and its impact on mental health outcomes and stress. Chelsea received a B.S. in Sociology and Economics from Hampton University.

Heather A. Jones is a third-year Ph.D. student in the School of Social Work with a minor concentration in African American Studies. She is interested in understanding the etiology, treatment, and prevention of depression in Black families. Heather received a B.A. in African & Black Diaspora Studies and English from DePaul University and has an MSW from the University of Chicago.
